How does S3SH work without sign-ups?

S3SH uses temporary, session-based identities. You pick a username for a session, and that's it. No accounts, no data, just a simple code to join.

Where is my data stored?

All your conversation data is stored exclusively on your iPhone's secure local storage. We have no access to it, and it's deleted if you uninstall the app.

Is the AI assistant private?

Yes. While your prompts are sent to the AI model, they are not stored or used for training. The AI's memory is limited to the current session only.

How do I create a new chat session?

Simply tap the "Create Session" button on the home screen, choose a username, and you'll get a unique session code to share with others. You can also add an optional session description.

How do I join an existing session?

Tap "Join Session" on the home screen, enter the session code shared with you, pick a username, and you're in. It's that simple.

Can I rename my chat sessions?

Yes! Long-press on any session in your session list and select "Rename" to give it a more meaningful name for easy identification.

What happens when I delete a session?

Deleting a session removes all its messages and data from your iPhone permanently. This only affects your device—other participants can still access their own copies.

Do I need an internet connection?

Yes, S3SH requires an active internet connection to send and receive messages in real-time and to use the AI assistant features.

How many people can join a session?

Multiple users can join a single session using the same session code. Everyone in the session can see and participate in the conversation in real-time.

Will I receive notifications for new messages?

Yes! Make sure to enable push notifications when prompted. You'll receive alerts for new messages even when the app is closed, keeping you connected to your conversations.

Can I use the same username in different sessions?

Absolutely! Your username is session-specific, so you can use the same name across multiple sessions or choose different ones for each.

What are the system requirements?
